Fire Horse is this year's annual fresh hop release from Epic. Using fresh Riwaka hops from Eggers Hop Farm in upper Moutere, the hops are picked at peak condition and flown same day from farm to brewery, then brewed the same day while their oils and aromatics are at full intensity. In Brazilian Portuguese it means 'the new style'. Bossa Nova - fruited IPA, brewed with Nelson Sauvin, Galaxy, Citra and Krush, fermented with a blend of Voss Kviek yeast and brettanomyces claussenii for a unique funky fruit flavour, then spiked with a medley of guava, mango, passionfruit, pineapple and lime.
