Unlike a typical 100% malt whiskey, Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Malt Whiskey is crafted from 51% malt and aged in new charred oak barrels, making it the malt whiskey for bourbon drinkers. The nose opens with soft nutty notes layered with light caramel, milk chocolate and fruit, complemented by hints of brown spice, mint, brown sugar and toasted oak.
