Jura 10YO is a whisky only Jura could make, shaped by its remote Scottish island home and a tradition of distilling that dates back to 1810. Crafted in exceptionally tall stills, it is matured for a decade in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in fine aged Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, Spain. Maker's Mark is a uniquely handcrafted Kentucky bourbon, instantly recognisable by its iconic hand-dipped red wax seal. Made in small batches of fewer than 19 barrels, this full-flavoured bourbon is never mass produced and is crafted using soft red winter wheat instead of rye, resulting in a smoother, less bitter profile. The heavily peated malt for this dram has been created from harvests brought home from three Islay farms, by Raymond and his farming colleagues Neil Mclellan and Raymond Fletcher. The resulting rich, aromatic Port Charlotte wash was trickle distilled in our Victorian stillhouse during 2011. Moving forward we now have 19 farmers who have made the commitment to grow for us and to whom we are equally committed. This Islay barley is who we are. This is where we're from.
