This wine is a sultry shade of magenta in the glass. The aromas that emerge first are smoky and savoury, with dark fruits showing next. Blueberries, figs and raspberry compote are complemented by toasted vanilla and allspice. The palate is medium-bodied with fantastic tannin structure, and the fruits are joined by dark chocolate and mocha flavours. The wine has a persistent finish of rich fruits and leather.

This single vineyard wine is a great expression of a rich and powerful Pinot Noir evolved from the stones it's grown on. The wine shows layers with initial perfumed vanilla notes that opens to have Black Doris plum and vibrant blackberry notes. Toasty oak also features. The palate is savoury, rich and warm and inviting with perfumed dark brooding fruit, blackberry and black doris plum flavours, with finely integrated charry oak. Layers of complexity coupled with finely textured silky tannins round off the palate.

The nose is pungent, with hints of smoky complexity, vibrant fruit intensity, and upfront passionfruit and tropical aromas carrying through to the palate. The palate emphasises the ripe tropical fruit with fresh passionfruit aromas, supported by white-fleshed nectarine highlights and wet river stone minerality. The palate is rich and weighty, showing enormous varietal intensity, finishing with a fresh crisp acidity.

Stoneleigh Wild Valley Chardonnay has aromas of nectarine, white-fleshed peaches, citrus peel and cream join with smoky toasty oak notes. There are also nuances of vanilla and a chalky minerality. The palate is well-structured and well-integrated showing lovely peach, citrus and caramel flavours with an oaky complexity - while demonstrating textural weight and balance with a soft, creamy finish.

The wine opens with bright primary fruit on the nose. Cherries and rhubarb with a hint of warm spice - vanilla bean and cinnamon. The palate is full of fruit notes too, more cherry, raspberry and strawberry flavours. This makes for a rich vibrant wine, supported on ripe, supple tannins and fresh, moderate acidity with a touch of charry oak on the finish.

This is a wine of great intensity. It has distinctive blackcurrant and cassis fruit flavours. Subtle oak characters of cedar cigar box and spice are also evident.
